I miss assemble sinks and stuff

So I love this game, but I was sad when I put in sinks, baths and ect that it doesn't let you fix it up from scratch like the screws and everything. I kind of liked that mechanic.

Same, that was one of the relaxing parts of HF1, so it was strange to be "timed" in order to get discounts on assembling random items. It feels weird putting in showers or baths, sinks etc, with no assembly required. Maybe it will come later in some DLC. But that would be going backwards I guess?? People would most likely complain and say, "But we didn't have to assemble those in the base game REEEEE." or something to that effect. lol

Yeah it was so relaxing just sitting there putting in the screws and the pipes. Let's hope they add it.

The only thing I been assembling is the assemble missions. The clock and lamp ect. But it isnt the same as actually using the assemble in missions. Also, I miss the characters pop up messages. You know when you buy and house and start cleaning it and doing it up. Miss that too.

i am glad they don't have that because it forced you into having to sell and redo all of the fixtures and plumbing every time you needed to move something even slightly.

maybe a compromise where you assemble the sink, tub or shower but can move it later.

I'm so surprised that I miss the assembly! It's a nice compromise to have it in assembly mode, but I'd kind of like it better if it was a toggle in the normal missions/sandbox. Toggle on for assembly, toggle off to just place things. Kind of like the roach/glass toggle in HF1.

I miss that feature as well. I cant believe the devs didnt add it. Fixing plumbing and electrical issues should be part of renovating. Did the devs purposely leave this feature out, or did they simply forgot to add it? Oh wait...lemme guess...they left it out on purpose so they have a reason to put out a paid DLC in the future. I dont know about anyone else, but I am getting suspicious that HF2 will be more of a money grab for the devs by adding many different DLC's.

LOL I miss them too. They added "life" to the game.

yes i miss it too like other things light fireplaces sit down and stuff like that hope they bring it all back but what i like is the new unbox mechanic

as much as HF2 is somewhat an upgrade all around.
its missing roaches, and some assembly stuff too.
shame those arent part of the sequel. it should be.

Yeah the unboxing I do like to. Maybe they will bring the other stuff back, it's not long been out so, here is hoping.
