Besides I can not go to mod.io ingame anyway.
No idea why they did not stick to the steam workshop.
I hope they will add it again. Maybe just have both ?
The reason for mod.io over the Steam Workshop is for cross-platform access (both PC and console).
Players can make their own jobs in the Sandbox mode and post them on mod.io so not likely mislabelled.
Easy Pete disagrees.
It doesn't change that it's still annoying on both ends.
I don't know why, it works very well with Anno 1800. Don't have to do anything outside of the game.
About Fallout and Skyrim (and others great games), I am on Nexus so...
If you have problems connecting to mod.io or loading mods in the game, please make sure that you have mods enabled in the game settings and that downloaded houses are unpacked in the right place.
You can always report the problem to us here - Support Contact [houseflipper.zendesk.com]
If you see such mods, you have the option to write a comment for the author to make him to change the tag or to report the house to us on mod.io.
Thanks to reports we can check if the author of the mod selected the correct tags and optionally we can change them
Including console players is always great but why not have steam workshop too for the PC community?
Why? They haven't even opened up for players to create furniture/deco yet. And again, that would shut players on other platforms out of the custom content posted on the Workshop. Which is why they went with mod.io in the first place.
