the game isn't the same without the skittering gross nasties.
Exact what I feel!
IMHO the game in it's latest iteration is really nothing more than a cleaning sim, with a building sim thrown in as an afterthought. I like the game, but it has so much greater potential and lacks so much of what the original game was. I am not criticizing the dev's, I know they have a difficult job making games that everyone loves, but I do long for the creepy crawlies! Wouldn't having spiders that go with the webs be cool? You could either vacuum or swat them with the broom!
I believe they removed them because some players have genuine fear of bugs irl (which is totally fine). Although in HF1 you could replace them with...glass
Which begs the question; why didn't they just do it that way in this game as well?
I assume is because HF2 has an heavier use of the vaccum cleaner for vaccuming small particles (like leaves, for example...). So adding cocroaches seemed reduntant, I dunno tbh...
Definitely a good point, hadn't thought of that...
