How much FREE content can we expect with updates?

Many people here write "this or that is not in-game YET" - so I am wondering how many things the devs will add with updates? I´m specifically not talking about paid DLC´s.

I guess they might reintroduce the before/after pictures since they stated that they look into that. But other than that I personally think they will not gift us too many free things. I mean HF1 had 5 paid DLC´s.

I felt that the pacing of the paid DLC was pretty reasonable and five paid (two free) for game that has been out for 5 years means they were about one per year. For the most part the DLCs didn't build on one another so you could choose if you wanted the new houses, items, and minigames included or not and they went on sale often enough.

Content wise every paid DLC added multiple new houses, tons of new items, and some of them had new minigames to play.

That being said I think some of the added free content gets missed because the Devs just added it to the game instead of releasing it as a DLC. There have been several of houses and new decoration items released around holidays. (Like a lot of Christmas decorations and then there was a Day of the Dead house and a few Halloween houses as well).

I would definitely not buy the game if you don't feel the existing content is sufficient or if Before/After photos are the most important part of the game to you. (Or curtains/shades) But I would keep an eye on the title over the next few months to see if they add the content that is most important to you.
