Also, I really liked the minimap as some kind of blueprint when planning some layouts of houses. I'm not yet at building houses (a woman has to work, sleep and eat and only has so many hours of freetime in between :D), so I don't know if there is some kind of tool for that later on. But if there isn't, I'd very much appreciate something for this part to replace the minimap in HF2 :).
yes you can use the "highlight" to find the things, but it rarely work outside or in bright places.
This! I remodelled a floor and when I went to put the doors in I had to guess where I wanted them. Total pain. I miss the minimap.
I was so confused when I gained the demolition/wall building skills and suddenly needed to mess with walls. The map of the house outlining where to make changes is completely useless because it doesn't show your position on it! I had to guess which room I was in and hope I was doing it right.
The way they had the minimap set up in the first game was perfect for building/demo-ing walls. I greatly, greatly miss it.
