I did think I was missing something here. No blinds or curtains. Went to add some towels in the bathroom and there is basically nothing like the base game in HF. Also the pictures category is just a bunch of posters. Nothing themed. I am hoping more gets added as I progress through but nothing has changed since the first level.

So basically HF1 is better for decorating and that is what is most important for me. Hope they do add more or I just wasted my money. Sad, really wanted to like it.

They'll probably make some stupid dlc for like $20. literally a big f u to us.

I came here to say this. Where are all the decorations like curtains and blinds and art? It is part of the original game that i love so much.

I'm the same as you. I would spend most time on the little details but HF2 lacks most of the "normal" stuff found in HF1. If I was you, hold on to your money for a bit to see if they add anything that meets HF1 standards.

I've only done a couple of the email jobs so far so wasn't aware that when I buy a house there will be no curtains, blinds, pictures, etc. If I'd known HF2 was only about buying, fixing and selling and not decorating I never would have bought it.

Was just looking for some information regarding this, do we have carpets? Or is that something missing too. Kept finding tiles or wood laminate which makes a house feel so empty. You aren't really house flipping if you're just making it look like an empty instagram home.

I still haven't found curtains or blinds, but I figured out last night there are more pictures than the posters. If you choose an empty picture frame, the customize it, you can change the size, material, color, add a mat, customize the mat size and color, and add a custom picture from a selection of pictures or upload your own. You can do it through the game, but it may be easier to just add a bunch of pictures to This PC > Documents > House Flipper 2 > Pictures.

I'm also hoping for them to add curtains in at some point, but for now you can at least put shutters on windows.
Press E when selecting a window to open up the customization tab. Most items in the game use this pretty intricate materials and color system, actually, which allows for a lot more customization than it seems at first.

Agreed, we need some nice curtains which you can open and close and also some nice luxurious blinds for a clean modern room fit.

Curtains, Carpets, Vents and AC would be nice. Funnily enough there ARE curtains and blinds in the game - they're on the random NPC houses in the background.

No normal light switches either?!?! WHY??? Ugh. I hope they plan on adding a lot more content... or we unlock it as we go. For this price point i expect this stuff to be included. And not some expensive DLC later. I found the original game DLC just got progressively jankier as each one came out. I didn't even bother with the farm one after the pet one was so meh.
