Similar to you, missing things like the before / after, cutting the grass. I never use carpet floors but I miss there being no painting to put on the walls, only posters. I initially thought that better decorations would unlock later on, but it seems not.
Why do you think we got rid of workshop support?
Listen: we’re very greedy. We do not care if we’re not making this game as good as it can be, we just want your freaking money…. besides - we hate our community of gamers so freaking much, we’ve got 10 DLC packs already lined up for scheduled release.
Enjoy, B!•••’s!
But I can just share the house with the community right? And there is no comment system or is there? I can't even sell my own build house in-game...
A week to flip one digital house sounds insane. If you are planing on doing this in real life maybe but not as a game
This is spot on, if you need dlc to make an game fun that just got release it's not an complete game
guess you are right....but now im over the 2 hour mark and can´t refund so I have to stick with it and wait
there is no need for a new game or a money grab
why bring out all the dlc's for hf1 and then make another game
Give me a break. No one updates graphics this significantly through a DLC.
Since releasing HF1, they've gotten demonstrably better at just about everything, but with DLC they were chained to their mistakes in the first game because of how game engines work. Starting fresh so that everything can be the same level of quality was a good idea. One of the things I love about the new version (besides the fact that my laptop isn't nearly on fire) is the fact that everything is visually cohesive. The furniture isn't all at slightly different scales, the textures use the same colors and the same resolutions, measurements are consistent, more furniture is part of matching sets rather than being a single weird item that goes with nothing. It feels like a real professionally made game now.
I said this with the first game.... They needed to make Flipping a house more of a challenge, they needed to make it so you could possibly lose money on your flips... The first game had zero challenge and well the second game also has zero challenge....
I always wanted a house flipper that focused more on the Finance and the Money making portion of the game. "As that could be a game" But they only ever focused on the Creativity of the game.... Which is all good and great but with creative focus alone its a Decent game but if they actually spent the time to incorporate an actual economy and the ability to lose money and the need to think strategically about what and how you are going to do that flips and what kind of person are you targeting your flip for etc.... Then the game would be so much more interesting....
