no houses for sale

i have been playing this for 2 hours and all im getting is cleaning and unpacking jobs.
i cant see anywhere that allows me to buy houses.

You should be able to buy houses after the fourth mission. The tabs are different from the first one but it should be there.

I got to the assembly of the first picture frame and now nothing new opened up

I think i was 4 hours or so into the campaign before Tom contacted me and said I could now buy houses.

I don't know if it is based on a certain number of jobs completed or getting enough money to be able to afford them.

This game is called house flipper and it takes FOUR HOURS to get to flipping?

not implemented yet, on list of stuff to add. Also, you can't sell the starter house.
