Curtains/blinds?

First off i'm really enjoying the game so far. I am missing a few things though such as the before and after shots and installing like I've seen a lot of people mention.

Another big miss for me is being able to put curtains or blinds up, I don't know if this is missing or I just can't find it? I feel like my houses look so bare without them :(

I was Just Looking in the game store to put curtains up for the new windows I just installed. lol, DLC Most likely

For the price, window dressings should be part of the base game. They tie a room together in my opinion and the rooms do not feel finished without them!

I think it's more likely they'll add them in an update, they're always adding new free content to HF1 - this isn't The Sims, the devs really do make an effort to keep adding free content. I suspect that the curtains were causing technical difficulties, the ones in the old game were a bit finicky, so they left them out at launch rather than include them and have a lot of people complaining about bugs.

Not gonna lie some of the stuff from the first game definitely and obviously should be in this game...why isn't some of the stuff in game from the last?

Again, IMO, the devs left this out on purpose so they have a reason to make a paid DLC if we want carpets.

I found it really odd they were missing too, the windows look so strange with no blinds or curtains. It's really weird. And either I'm blind, or there's no carpeting in this game either. Or doormats? I'm so confused about some of those things being missing.

I was so worried I was going crazy (or was at least incredibly stupid) until I saw this post. I've spent far too much time looking for something that isn't in the game. What a weird thing to exclude considering how useful they were in the first game.

Fun fact: House Flipper 1 didn't have curtains or blinds on release, and they were added in a free update later on.

This is House Flipper 2. Shouldn't a game that people think is a sequel be better than the first? Most people expect things from the first game be in the second. Just going to downgrade a first game and release it as a new one and then expect people to not complain?

I agree that it'd be nice to have curtains / blinds, and I also think it's be great if they made it free. I could understand them making it a DLC but I don't think I could understand them charging $20 for it. $5 sure since there's asset work (3d-models, texturing, interactability code-work, etc.). I also think the window sills should be paintable since those are a layer in color scheme work for interior decorating. In that same vein, I think there really needs to also be crown molding since that would typically be the same color (since they're the same layer) as window sills and window-trim.

Once you have done more learning from emails and some more assembles curtains and or shades will show up in a new tap in the store. Buy a house and have fun but go back and finish the learning part of the game to get more tabs.

There is no curtains or blinds but you can have shutters on the windows.
