You must always install the UE extras when you first install CH.

If you've run it before they're probably already installed, but that's the message you get without them, which is an instant crash.

They're in one of the folders of the game, just need to look around and you'll find them. It's a simple installer.

How do you load the UE extras as suggested? Had a good look in all the game folders but don't see any executable files

It's generally in this address: \Engine\Extras\\UE4PrereqSetup_x64
