Is there a practice mode?
I seem to have some issue with the combat trying to pull off combat moves and what helped me with Bayonetta was practise in the loading screens or test new moves by preforming them. Does W101 have anything like that?

If you are talking about Multi Unite Morphs, you need to buy the ability.

Yeah, this game is just confusing and full of crazy UI and blinking ♥♥♥♥ with no time to figure anything out.

Well the game does have the practise in the loading screens but i think most people load the game so far that you can't even use it.

Unfortunately, no. The best way I practiced was to test out moves during combat missions when there's no pressing event (like a forced segment). True, you'll burn some of your battery learning how to use some moves but it's better than just trying to guess during a fight.

I recommend just trying some different button combos, see what works, and also learn how to do an all out attack. When a monster is stunned, that's your chance to throw out a few different unite morphs while you also attack with the others.

also, learn what each morph can and can't do, and what works best for each monster.

The loading screen is the practice area. However it loads so fast on PC, compared to the Wii U, you barely have time to do anything. Nothing is stopping you from starting Operation 001 and using the school courtyard as a practice zone.

The loading screen only has a bunch of the weakest enemy. There's nothing you can do in combat that you can't do outside aside from blocking and dodging. Just try different things as you fight enemies normally.

The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

It's been a while since I played on Wii U, but what other people are saying is correct. You can practice moves without needing to fight enemies and meter recharges on its own iirc. I don't know if it's unlock, but pressing Y/Triangle should let you release a Unite Morph attack independent of your character. You can also make the Unite Morph use command attacks by using the command input and pressing Y/Triangle (and if you press B/Circle, your character will perform the command attack as the UM is formed).

I highly recommend you watch a youtuber called Saurian. This guy rocks and he has a playlist only with tutorials for W101. Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSAbLRnGiWg
