Most likely! They still have some more if they're going to do all the ones they did for the CMS 18 version. Lots of ppl waiting for a 'Jeep Remastered' which might include a dirt track... similar to how they did for CMS 18.

Jeff you're right on the money, as long as their is a love of wheels, there will be DLC deals
:steamthumbsup:
They do a professional job with DLC content they add to the game, and pricing is reasonable year round. What might help the developers, and the community is to sit around a campfire and talk what DLC(s) they would add so the community would benefit.

OPINION : It's great that Red Dot and major automotive titans that are recognized worldwide are able to come to an agreeable idea for a DLC based on real iconic products of their trade. What I have yet to see are specialty after market parts companies; the off-roaders, the lowriders, the tuners specialty markets, have their own brands in something similar to the DLC Rims package with 80 parts available.

MINOR OPINION (and totally me wedging my foot in the door) : Those same major manufacturers also have their own storied histories of brands in their care that are legendary in their own; perhaps worth asking the big three if it's alright to court their sister companies.

Ford Motor Company and their generous DLC, could have two potential spin-off DLC on IP such as Lincoln being the mark of excellence in luxury cars and trucks, and Mercury being both family friendly while also being the rebel with a cause( never mind the later being discontinued) as it has a historic significance globally as much as the two still in production. Friendly Suggestion, 1951 Lincoln Cosmopolitan, 1956 Mark II, 1962 Lincoln Continental, Lincoln Town Car and Lincoln Navigator. For Mercury, 1949 Mercury 8, 1963 Mercury Monterey, 1964/72 Mercury Cyclone, 1973/79 Mercury Ranchero, and Mercury Mountaineer.

The Chrysler Corporation has respectfully been a great contributor to wanting to learn more about their Dodge line of fine automobiles with their own DLC, and could further encourage the interest of some of their belle of the ball Chrysler luxury vehicles, and maybe delve into the vehicle line they created during the great depression that championed the working family, being Plymouth. Friendly Suggestion; 1934 Chrysler Airflow, 1960 Chrysler Imperial, 1978 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham, 1999 Chrysler Citadel, and 2025 Chrysler 300 C. Plymouth suggestions, 1946 Plymouth Deluxe, 1963 Plymouth Valiant (9 sub sets open up creativity; Signet, V-100 models, V-200 models), 1972 Plymouth Satellite GTX, 1989 Plymouth LeBaron -or- Sundance, 1999 Plymouth Prowler.

What fans have yet to hear from, and it might be some reasonable assumption of maintaining a strong brand and reputation, happen to be some of the other popular competing brands that lock horns on occasion with the above mentioned (and yes, RAM was on my mind thinking that phrase). You know who you are, and shyness is not akin to drumming up interest, or orders to your parts departments when it comes to new potential customers that got inspired playing a video game, that fell in love with your product.

I mean if the other big players don't want a DLC of their own, there's always thematic packs that would bring smaller brands together. 1987 Yugo GV Sport, Gaz-21 Volga, Lada Vesta, and Aurus Senet, might be fresh drink of, "not-water-but-better DLC".

It's late, but Jeff, good question, and it made me stop and think about it for an hour and a half.

Yeah, and it's a rolling changelog that was updated a few days ago.

It's a "pinned" topic this was the release date for the game, when there's anything being changed/added to the game it'll be at the very top of this thread

I would love to see the damage model of BeamNg with the open world of Forza Horizon and the car building/restoring of CMS 21. But i think it's to much for a dlc. lol...

I've made a similar suggestion in the past.... CMS level mechanics in a large open world racing/driving game (The Crew or some of the NFS games come to mind). CMS garage would be the perfect safehouse those other games were always lacking. Unfortunately it fell flat. No one seems to be interested in that. Or maybe they just know it ill never happen....

OR, it hasn't yet because the right amount of interest from consumers, and the idea someone might seize the opportunity to take the helm and do an independent venture.

I hope your right because I'd love to see a game like that. I understand the "small dev team", or "indie games" etc... There's only so much a small team can do, but I think a game combining the best of all these smaller games would be worth the investment.
Mardoin69 Mar 20, 2024 @ 9:33am
Actually, there is a game that did just that. It's called 'Redline Racing....' but it's an old games with lots of flaws--several of which can be modded away--and has a large modding community. The same company is 'supposed' to be working on a squeakuel. But, it's kind of looking more like crickets playing in the background when looking for this dev teams progress... which is sad. It would be such a good game. If only they could of used CMS's wrenching style. Redline's takes some getting used to and isn't as easy as CMS when it comes to assembly / disassembly of the cars.

Edit: I always get the name mixed up on this one for whatever dislexic reason, lol.
Here's link to what I'm referring;

Thanks for the link. As much as I'm into cars and car games I'm surprised this one has never come up for me on steam, youtube or anywhere else.... Makes me wonder about their search algorithms... Maybe some of these smaller games would be bigger if people actually know about them.

@Grimmslayer73
Yeah, same happened with me... I only learned of this game when I was digging through some forums while looking for something sort of a mix between CMS and actually racing the cars. Someone had suggested this one.

'Wrench' also does something similar... not sure to what extent though. I don't have 'Wrench'... yet, that is. Waiting for the Devs to actually finish it--or, at least leave EA status.

I think it would be fun if there were unique or low-production classic or concept cars in the game that were very rare barn or junkyard finds and that could not use the purchasable standard parts. It would be necessary to either get parts as rare finds in barns or the junkyard, or to fabricate parts based upon either blueprints (also rare finds) or as duplicates of found parts that are too worn out to repair. Parts fabrication could be an alternative use for scrap parts and the upgrade bench, or, if the studio is feeling more ambitious, they could add the milling of mechanical parts or the forming of sheet metal into body panels as new mini-games. Such content would add the "treasure hunt" aspect that is so much a part of classic car restorations in real life, and it would expand the game play experience to include long-term repair/restoration projects that must move back and forth between parking and the garage many times as new parts or blueprints are discovered. Completing the restoration any of these automotive treasures would, of course, get you an achievement, for that little shot of dopamine.
