Huh! That's pretty odd. Now I have to wonder if they've implemented some kind of trickery to the game... where cars sitting too long come up missing parts? lol Is the actual car still there and useable though? Normally, if it were a mod taken down from Workshop, you'd get a different message... stating it was an unknown car or missing completely... something to that effect. However, it could be the mod was re-worked by the author and then re-uploaded to Workshop. They may have removed / added some part that your car is now missing?

It was missing a rear wheel but It may have been missing when I placed it in storage, can't remember. I will sometimes buy cars to restore later when I get around to it. No big deal, I just never seen this before and found it odd. I am running the qol mod.... not sure if this is from that.

HAH thats some funny stuff. I love it.
I wonder if they could put cars that you have restored back though the auction after some time. It would be fun so see a car you previously restored come up in the junk yard/salvage auction/auction house with mileage and damage again.

Except, that would mean the game engine would have to keep track of every car you've ever worked on and sold. This would be a big performance impact for very little in return (just to see previously owned cars.) It's not going to happen... at least, not by the Dev's. I imagine a modder 'could' do it maybe. Still... big performance impact so... I wouldn't install it.

You will, once in a blue moon, get an auto accident out front of the shop. They will give you some sort of choice, call the police or something else, i think something else you end up with the car??? Can't remember, been a long while since I had one. The one or two times I've seen it, the car "hit the fence" out by the street.

It is a QoLmod option for Random events.
I Love it and it does have many surprises, once I was in the Car Editor, and I clicked on the Explode Car for the Hood and doors to open and the whole Car blew up into all of it's pieces, but it did automatically put itself back together. LOL!

I had a few Cars that the Tires were stolen out in front of the Garage, Tire Thieves. LOL.
