Don't think you can use mods on console , Other then that I don't know , I Have the Xbox X console with 2018 Car Mechanic Simulator game & The mods is the only thing that I seen different , But I haven't played 2021 Car Mechanic Simulator game on the console so I really can't say for sure , But I do use my Xbox controller playing the Car Mechanic Simulator game on PC and it works just fine , I think it's a lot easy-er holding 1 small Xbox controller in my hands then having to play with a mouse & Keyboard , But I did see some cool after market joysticks .
However, all console version have electric DLC free but in Steam its separate.
Steam version have Car Editor included and Steam Workshop tools, like PDF guides and Uploader.
Steam version does support Steam Workshop mods and also, there are lot of 3rd party mods. (which expands game feature further)
You can copy your savefile from MS version to Steam version.
