Car from barn disappeart from lifting platform

Gents, I had 3 cars from a barn in my shop, one in front, two on lifting platforms 1 and 2. I put one of them to the testing area, and when I put it back, the other car from the other lifting platform was gone. I think, a chose the same platform, when I put car 1 back...but hell, how could this be? It shouldn't be possible to chose a platform, what is already in use...now my Mercedes from the barn is gone and I lost a lot of money...
I think, the Mercedes was stripped naked on lifting platform 1, the other car was on 2. I restaurated car 2 first and when it was finished, I tested the engine..and at the and, I chose platform 1 to put the second car back into my shop...where the Mercedes should have been. So..at the end, the Mercedes was gone and car 2 took place from Mercedes. I alredy checked my garage and all other areas, like painting, washing and so on...but...it's gone and I think, I'll never see it again....

No, it's supposed to give you a message that car lift one is already occupied--if selecting it to send car to. If it let it go there anyway, it was a bug issue. There is a chance that the game moved the original car on lift one back to your parking lot. Check parking to see if it's in list of cars there. OR, could have moved it to another area... like swapping it to front of shop, paint booth, car wash, etc... just look everywhere. If the game bugged and it's completely gone... that sux. I highly recommend verifying the files though... cuz of you experiencing the bug in the first place. Right click game in steam library, choose properties, go to local files tab and do the file verification. I also recommend disabling that 'Cloud Sync' just because it's known to cause save corruption for some people... with this game and many others.
