Take on service jobs (changing/adding fluids)- you can still do those with $0. But it will take a while. Or take on another job, strip some parts from that car, and sell them. Once you’re not bankrupt anymore, you can earn enough to put the parts you stole back. Your choice.

I had same issue while doing a mission car. It took a while but I took the all parts that needed replacing off the car and sold them. Then I moved it to the parking lot and only took jobs that needed 1 area repaired (and if you get lucky needed the oil and fluid changes too) and had the bonus credit as well. Took about 10 jobs to acquire the money needed to finish. After that I made sure I had plenty of money before I started missions/jobs. Good luck.

[Also, be careful with story missions. They start to require more and more 'overhead' costs, for example you will start getting story missions that require lots of car body part replacements, which are expensive and add up quickly. They'll also start requiring various tasks that require expensive garage upgrades, such as paintjobs. Keep a close eye on those requirements and that will help you avoid running out of dough]

Excatly. I ran out of money, on story mission, while buying body parts.

Always leave yourself with $4,000 when buying upgrades or you might not have enough money to do jobs.

Yeah that's why it's called a simulator. You also have to manage ur finance😉.. Best to keep 5000Cr at hand for missions and spend the rest above it for upgrading the shop. Good luck man!

A tip for when you get a little bit ahead. Once you unlock the welder, which I think is about 5k, you can pick up cheap cars from the junkyard. I'd say around 7k is ok as anything over and if you're not skilled enough it's a risk You can make an instant profit by just fixing the shell with the welder. I went straight up the fixing skill tree and now can make about 8k profit per junk car in around 10mins. I ONLY dissemble the engine and gearbox, fix what I can on the repair bench, then put it back together. It's been my money maker for my project cars and keeps me afloat. Hopefully you don't get discouraged and get back on your feet. This game has so much to offer.

Try the same exact thing but with barn finds, but more specifically ones that you can buy for more than what they're worth. I just profited 70000 off of one car. I barely spend money on it as barn finds usually have all parts, so I can just fix all the parts and put it back together.

Also if you really need money then just take a job, strip the whole car and sell its parts then leave it on the side

Game is designed in a way that you can do all the story missions in a row financially provided you dont go crazy with garage upgrades too early. Leave yourself a proper money reserve before buying any garage expansions, all you need at start are diagnostic tools and those are cheap.
Buy garage expansions when next story job demands some task that needs specific garage expansion, for instance lvl 8 story job needs paintshop so it`s not advisable to buy other garage expansions before that.
When you have about 50K and all things you would need for full car restoration unlocked then you can start doing junkyard, barn and scrap auction restorations that will bring in considerably more money then regular jobs and your money problems will be over.
What is good in CMS 2021 compared to 2018 is that you can unlock everything needed for full restoration far lower level and far faster giving you lot faster start without grinding more levels.

Same issue here :hungry:

Thank you for your help :104:

In my opinion, it is a silly way to play that game this way if u run out of money.
But i don't have a better solution now.
There should be a other way to get out of such situations. :csdmeh:

There is an easy fix really. Make it so you unlock stuff with experience..... wait we had that in 2018 and people cried about it. Nevermind.

Easy way to cheese the "simulation". You'll need around 15k starting cash:

Add Welder (5k) and Carwash to Garage (1.7k)

Go to junkyard

Buy any or all cars there (usually ~8k)

Go back to garage. Interior detail (free) + Weld the car (500)

Sell for a profit of 1.5k-4k

Works everytime. I guarantee profit without taking off a single part of the car.

I was missing ECU type A for my job that costs 500 CR. I had sold all my spare parts, was waiting for fluid fill jobs, but they wouldn't come in.

I ended up taking a 2nd simple job (despite only having one bay available meaning I'd just have to swap cars around a bit), took the ECU type A from the 2nd job's car, Installed it in the car from the previous job to complete the first job and BAM! Emril showed up and made me a sandwich. j/k... But I went from 0.00 CR to over 9k, which allowed me to buy the NOW missing part for the 2nd job, and complete it, adding a few G's more.
