Story jobs need 100% part condition. (I could be wrong, I'm just assuming that from my own observations and from CMS18)
I bought the welder as it said it could repair body work but it didn't seem to do anything.
I no longer have enough cash to buy the expansion and then repair bench.
The other avenue of acquiring a new part from scrap as described above doesn't seem an option.
Is it intentional for some cars not to be available to buy parts for? I only remember that being an error on the previous versions I've played but I may be wrong.
Ah cheers I forgot about the frame I remember now from last time. Ah well I'll do a load of smaller jobs to get the money for the repair station.
I didn't miss it as I searched for it, clicked on the part on the list and also scrolled through all the cars and it was not there.
Suddenly it popped up on the body shop list.
I did think that repairing the bumper was very unlikely to be the correct route as you would need to buy the expansion, buy the body repair and then max out the repair skill. This all seems a lot for an early story mission.
So long story short, whatever issue that meant the Bolt Hornet wasn't appearing is now resolved at least for me.
