Loan
Is it possible to take out a loan? I'm flat broke because i purchased the wrong tire-size 3 times in a row.

This would be cool.

I took jobs for nice cars with brake problems, they generally needed ABS module replaced, sold busted ones to finish current jobs and used profit from them to replace broken abs module etc.

how is everyone having so many issues with money i'm on hard-mode and making tons of profit so most of the things i see is that people don't use brain power and get themselves into this place where they have no money. tbh i wish i could use the tire stuff more seem i never get jobs where i need to fix the rims.

money is tight in this game in the early going. Even forgetting/or removing the reservoir by mistake to drain the coolant, brake fluid, etc., can make a huge difference down the road. Endgame money is easy...

Dump a lot of skill points into repair and repair as much as you can, will save a ton of money. You can even make money going to the junk yard or barn finds and taking as much as you can. Repair it all, and sell it, and you'll be ok on money.

Technically there is a way to "burrow some money".

Take on a decent job with a decent, high % condition car. Disassemble it, use the parts on other jobs and sell the rest. If you want to play nice, restore and repair the car when money isn't a concern anymore. Otherwise...you could abandon the job. (I think devs might eventually prevent people from exploiting this strategy altogether)

haha, I need to make a second save and try this out. Never really thought to do that.

Yeah I didn't try the abanoning part, but the rest absolutely works. I am a nice guy. I always finish my jobs 100%.

Hard gives increased XP. That's going to give you less money issues in the mid game.

But for those new to the game, hard will be impossible and take days to fix a car..unless you just go in and dismantle the whole thing..barring you can figure out where to start next if new?

Yup. I just came here to post something similar to help people out who are having "money troubles".

I needed an ABS module to finish a job but couldn't afford it, literally only had a couple of bucks left. So I took on another job. Then ran short again and couldn't finish that one. I ended up juggling 4 cars (jobs) at once (with one lifter). Swapped out parts from other customer's rides to replace others, sold some parts from other cars. Eventually I was able to finish all jobs (including having to buy 2 new ABS modules). I ended up completing 5 jobs overall including the first one. Done.

You need to get creative. Just don't tell your customers what you are doing ;)

Too much stress for this type of game..im level 7 and still havent upgraded or anything..upgrade too fast, you run out of money..learn to balance
Blatz Aug 12, 2021 @ 6:35pm
The "stress" is part of the fun of the early game.

Out of curiosity, I checked my stats just now. In my reported 5.7 hours of "play time" I've already completed 22 jobs. Several upgrades are done... level 5 just around the corner, so I can then check out the scrap yard. Looking forward to that.

Im level 7 and no scrap yard

I got no life. I am reading/posting here and playing. Lvl 14 now, restored 3 Cars, one is almost done. Next goal is barn finds, as soon as I can afford them. And I need the paint shop for the next story mission I assume, because it says body repairs. I'm excited about this.
