Don't hold your breath.
It seems that the matter is difficult from what you say. I am not an expert in programming games, but if online was added, it would be funny and enjoyable.
Also the game is limited to XBox CPU & GPU, that's why with CMS21 we can't have the open parking of 13x12 cars like CMS18 (though we do get to keep 5X as many cars)
Before you ask, they have contractual obligations to the publisher to use the Engine.
However actual racing would be great :-(
I appreciate your insight. The trade-offs between multiplayer functionality and graphics are intriguing to observe. I understand that the Xbox CPU and GPU are what limit the game, and it makes sense that even though we can store more cars, CMS21 doesn't offer open parking like CMS18. Much of this is explained by the contractual requirement to use the Unity Engine. Indeed, having real racing would be an amazing addition! 😞
