How much money should I have as a base line to be able to go to the junkyard and build cars?

If you have got the welder, wash/detail, you can double 5k with a flip, got repair up and running make much more, just do what you can without buying new parts. About 3 trips doing flips basically doubling your money each time, then you should be able to do a finished (100%) where the real money is at.
Tested, starting with 10k, can make 1 million in 10 trips, if you choose wisely. A car that sells for 200k costs about the same to rebuild as a car that sells for 70k.
Note, only 100% cars are counted in "cars sold" stat
