I'm only guessing but I imagine it would be a nightmare to program. What parts did I take off the car? What parts did my friend take off the car? Keeping it all in sync, live over a peer to peer connection.... Would probably never work right. If anything, we might get a shared map to drive around on and race each other and then we each return to our instanced garage. Even that is doubtful.

I could see something along those lines being possible... @Grimmslayer73. Something like a leaderboard for competitions between players at the drag strip... where that would be only place 'multi-player' would happen--to race each other. But, the Dev's have REPEATEDLY said they're NOT going to add Multi-player... probably not in any way, shape, or form. In fact, they're so sick of repeating that... they'll flog you for asking in their chat board.
