How do i swap engine type in a car?

I recently bought the 1969 bolt supernova with the V8 Hemi 440 Sixpack and i have taken out the engine and built a BEAST upgraded V8 DOHC Supercharged and i want to put it in the bolt supernova but i cannot do that is only wants the hemi 440 and if i try to built one fron the inside of the car it wants to build a hemi 440 how to i swap the engine type? please help

This is only possible if the engine is set as a swap option in the car config.
This is because the engine models are not the same meaning driveshaft won't align and/or exhaust won't align.
So I'm afraid you can't do anything unless you change the car config with the editor.

How do i access the editor? i am bad at the game

Well in Steam when you click Play you should get a menu that asks if you want to start the game or the car editor or something else. Also in the game menu itself there's a Car Editor button.
