just loaded up CMS21 after buying all the new DLC, and come to find none of my workshop mods are working. Maybe im missing something idk

Standard procedure is to verify files but not knowing what you mean can't help further.

Ok, so i did verify the files, uninstalled and re installed, and i tried playing in safe mode than normal mode. Nothing so far has seemed to work, im not getting any error messages.

Sorry i clearly misunderstood. So none of the mods seem to be activated, its almost as if the game is stuck on safe mode

Is that you just haven't seen any available at auction etc, cause sometimes it can take a while.
Do you have the body parts available in "Community Market" (bottom right corner shop panel) for the full mods. For configs go to salon to see if they are available there, under the vanilla asset they are based on.

If you had mods/configs in Parking already but unable to retrieve, then you should get an error message, asking if you want to delete (empty slot).

I've had mods in Parking and unsubed, as long as you don't interact with them, they stay put, later (sometimes months) I've resubed and everything was fine when I retrieve them.
Done to lessen spawn pool and increase chances of find a new mod/DLC quicker.

Do you start game with the 4 options, launch game, launch editor, workshop uploader, safemode. If quick start from play button you may have checked "always launch from" ... and hit safe mode.

Go through setting, disable cloud sync, and confirm all other settings in both steam and game.

More things I can rule out, more I can help, been playing for 2 years without such issues.

So yes i have many mods i have subbed to, and none of them appear anywhere.

The "community market" tab has a lock over it and is inaccessible, and I did get a error message for 2 of the mods i was subbed to after updating the game and booting it up.

I did double check that it was not in safe mode, in which it is not.

However i have yet to try the cloud sync. I really do appreciate your help, I have been playing for some time too and really do enjoy the game.

I ran into something similar to this the other day. The game, although I was subscribed (I did un and re subscribe to everything) to the workshop content, did not show up in game and glitched out some cars in my parking lot. I tried many different fixes. After I uninstalled the game itself, redownloaded, and finally reinstalled the game, it started up fine with my save still in working order. I did lose a couple cars due to my experimenting before this fix. But everything seems to be back to normal. Might try that.

Yeah i just tried this nuclear option the other day, only i had to go into the program files, delete everything, than reinstall. seems to have worked. Thank you guys very much for all the help!

No prob. I know how frustrating it is. My main save has $12 million, more scrap and xp than I will ever need, level 200 something. Also, around 30 cars, some finished, some not. But I was terrified when my game glitched out the other day. Thought I would have to start all over
