I refuse to buy a new game unless it's a huge improvement over this one or if it's done from ground up with proper physics, and, as you're mentioning, components animations like you get on "Wrench".

Wrench looks almost overly complicated, which isnt actually a bad thing I guess. But what has held me back all though I own a VR headset i cannot stand to wear that thing for more than maybe 30 mins. Most of the negative comments on this game is how it just doesnt work well without VR. So that has keep me from picking this up.
but you are right, I own 2018 and i picked up 2021 Honestly I dont even see a real difference between the 2 games.
