Lost Profile

I had just carried out a run on the speedway and had clicked on "Return to Garage" when my PC crashed. Now I cannot load my main profile - it sticks on 80%. My alternative profile works, but I am only on Level 1 in that. I have invested 454 hours in the game and have reached Level 55, with dozens of cars in my garage, so I am very anxious to recover my game data for my main profile. Is there any way of recovering, or going back to an earlier saved game, please? I don't think I can bear to start all over again.

I have done that and it didn't cure the problem
