Car upgrade tuning?
Never really did anything with major engine upgrades and tuning, only result was over powered car and zero control, either ended up spinning out or veering off road into something lol.

I now found 2 Salem 1500`s which I want to mod out. 1st one I want to make a track car, and the other a supped up road car.

The track car inst a problem making the engine, but for the road car what would the best engine be?
Also what would be the best wheel size and tyre size for a track car like this, and also a set for a powered road car? TBH tyres etc doesn't mean anything to me, just building a basic car I just chuck any old tyre on them lol

Tires more expensive more traction, if you can go faster than 120 MPH you're going to need slicks, at least on the back and as fat as the fenders will fit. Standard and vintage tires aren't meant to go over 70MPH.
Same with steering, slicks will give much tighter turning but very twitchy on the straights, race and below smooth on the straights but to wide on some corners at a competitive speed.
TBH vanilla 1500 only has i6
Mod 1500 XL, hemi magnum or OHV supercharger
Restomod, DOHC supercharger
TBH a truck isn't the best chose for the Race Track, just make sure the wheels are square before you plant the power or you'll be off chasing rabbits.

thanks, I have both versions of the 1500, so 1 will be turbo charger and the other upgraded I6.

How do you tell what tyre width and profile do you need for high powered engines and for the body type?
