Also, the dipstick actually works? I think it was just there for show. Man, over 1k hours and I just learned something.
But that is neat that the dipstick is not cosmetic.
That's for car restorations. For orders, you might need to drain the oil first and refill. Haven't done an order in over a year, but I'd still go with the (24)26 glugs.
If I remember right, there was also a bug where this message would pop up in the dyno and test path, even though you had oil in the engine, caused by something else that you missed. Like it was the wrong notification message, or something. Don't know if that was patched.
Or it's just a simple glitch fix, like Jamagh's example, to get the car out of the shop. Pain in the ass, but whatever works is all good. I've never had a problem with completing orders, but CMS has its glitches. A lot of the time, it's operator error; on the other end, there are times here and there when CMS will sh*t its pants.
The other thing I would try is to drain again, remove oil pan and filter, replace and refill.
*Just in case ... if "repair parts below X%", any listed job part must be at 100%, so can't use an old filter even if above X%
As above, when the jug tips back, 3 glugs for oil and 1 glug for the other fluids. All reservoirs have min-max markings, except radiator C.
