Building a Race car for Drag Racing

What parts and stuff I need to build the fastest Drag Racing car ever?

I just need to earn some achievements.

What manufacturer and what engine? etc. Please, tell me.

Lancer Time Attack mod, full 3 star on performance parts. super quick on the quarter a full second faster than others in class. AWD = lots of traction.
Ol' Screwy Louie OHV SC +3500hp wild top speed on the mile, if you can nail the launch.
If you run lower class cars you can pretty much beat everything with good gearbox ratios.

Just been having another go with Time Attack, will do the job with ease.
i4 DOHC 4X4 all the shiny bits 3 star tuned kicking around 1800hp, only change to spec rear tires 325/30- 18" ET 15 slick C. Works really well on Race Track too, doesn't flip if you clip a curb, good for sub 1:10.

For the cheapest option Merkur, add gearbox and slicks, winning races. Same engine as lancer, less base HP but still plenty.

Pretty sure someone could tweak the ratio and squeeze an even faster 1/4 ET out of this car. I've only made a handful of runs with this setup.

Thanks will give it a shot. That's a lot of gears to get through before the Q, building for the mile I'm hitting the Q as I change into 3rd in the Lancer. Always looking for new tweaks.

Yea this Final Ratio coupled with the engine being stage 3 putting out 1573 HP, it clicks through the gears smooth and literally hits max MPH at the finish.
