Auto shopping list?
I am working on an engine on my engine stand and the parts i need to change are not blue there ( on the engine stand) ( i have star marked them). and therefore to see what parts i need to change i have to place the motor in the car again and add the parts before the part i need to change to later put that part in the shopping list. This as you can tell is a big problem, at least for me. extremely time-consuming too.

What i am asking for is if anyone knows is there is a Auto shopping list that automatically puts the parts i need to change for the job in the shopping list :D

I'm Swedish if you have problem with my writing xD Thankful for help :D

Hi, the only thing I can suggest is that you leave the engine in the car to do the work on it. It is a little difficult and you need to do some parts in the engine bay and some under the car but at least then the blue outline should be visible.. Every part of the engine except for the engine block can be removed with the engine in the car..
I hope this makes sense and may be of some help.:steamhappy:

Can take block out as well, lift up- oil pan, rod and crank caps, lift down - all other parts, lift back up to remove crank, then lift back down to remove block, - reverse order to build.
If you wish to change engine type, you will need to use engine crane, but just the block with crank will do and you can build the rest in bay.
Tip, for performance parts, I do pistons, clutch, flywheel, gearbox and OHV cam (bottom end) with stand/crane, then all the other parts can be swapped out on the dyno, no need to go back to lift or drop engine/gearbox again.
Note: I play in hard mode so I get no outlines at all and can only see condition once in personal inventory or parts list if diagnostic tools have been used. Established routines are the way to go.

More excellent info from yourself although I get the impression that the original poster may not be playing at such a high level..
Nevertheless great info for folks and well described.:steamthumbsup:
