Sum of value of added parts. No bonus for original parts.
I've always been about collecting, sell as few as possible, 800 slots to fill. That's why I try to save money where ever I can. Make extra cash with exotic mod panels and excess inventory.
Current game has around 250 in the shed, 40ish are track ready so far, the rest only built to a flip or fix minimum standard (a 4-5x return on investment if/when sold).
Not the best driving game in the world but I have fun on the tracks regardless. Keeping the cars closer to a realistic tuning and speeds, the physics is quite nuanced, run different cars with same engine, wheel base starts to make a difference for track times. Favourite cars get multiple versions made, set up and tuned to suit each track. Lots of tests and tweaks with gearboxes and tuning.
Driving will lower value but you have to do some serious mileage to notice the difference.
Even a tight wad like me doesn't care about these kind of numbers (though tested to be sure)
