1995 Bolt Cargo Van

There is a bonus part on this van, located on the roof. There's no way to identify what it is. I'm assuming it's a light of some sort. How do I locate the part?

There's a category of parts.. add ons? can't remember but it has light bars, luggage rack and some sirens in it. that's what that spot is for.
The category is bottom row second from right in the shop menu.

OK. Got it done. However, when I try to complete the job, a window pops up, saying, "There is a hood missing from car." All tasks have been completed. I tried removing and replacing the engine hood. Is this a bug?

maybe it's the wrong hood? maybe the correct one is the Hood B from the tuning shop?

Nope. That didn't work either. No way to get rid of the vehicle, so it now sits in front of the garage.

I guess you bought a new hood, or have the original repaired to 100%, and painted, even though the order might not call for that? Just trying to exhaust all possibilities with you. I had no bugs in the story orders. We'll all figure this out, somehow. Someone is bound to chime in with an idea that fixes it.

Also, try removing the bonus part. Is that part of the job order? If it's not, that might be the culprit. I don't seem to remember any jobs needing bonus parts, but I could be wrong about that. Been a while.

The bonus part was definitely part of the job. Doesn't matter, since I tried completing the job BEFORE installing the bonus part. IIRC, the hood was part of the repair listing. Unfortunately, I can't go back in time. Perhaps someone will have to analyze the job order.

It's a few months old, so maybe things have been changed through updates. Haven't seen anything about it in the changelogs. Got any mods installed?

Yeah, that list has no body parts, which the van does have. The author referenced by SkinGravel has a Bolt Cargo, which, I don't know if it's the same vehicle.

I know it was one of the vehicles where the dude writes a long paragraph about the van, so I guess that makes it a story car, whatever that means. (Does that mean I get to retire after fixing every car thrown my way? )

There's only one Bolt Cargo, and it's a van. And no, you don't get to retire. You have many more story orders to go, haaa. Unless you're ready to retire.
