im not 100% sure about the price, but i wouldnt be surprised if those car companies asks for something around the 1 million mark. altho this isnt forza, but who knows. those numbers are never given to the public.
would you pay car mechanic sim 60$ altho with real life car brands? but 60$ JUST FOR REAL BRANDS!!? i know i wouldnt.
or have 72!!! CARS!!!!! this is freaking a lot for the base game.
seeing how other car mechanic sim were sold for around 20-30$ id like to hope this one is also gonna be in the 20-30$ range.
i personally prefer having dlc over a 60$ game that wont get supported until the end of the year.
gta uses fakealikes, so does beamng and car mechanic sim, and so many other games as well.
if you had a bit of imagination you could potentially ignore the fake brands and just tell yourself its the real thing. as easy as that.
there is nothing wrong with fakealike.
Oh wait - we can add some fluid into cars and a few fuses. Ok and it's still the same game. I do think the graphics look nice and updated. The game seemed to run smooth but it's a demo with limited items. All items looked to be the same. Wait - we can now wash a car - wow.
Those that are clamoring over it are easily fooled. It's the 3rd game now that is the same thing, they just keep updating it with a few small additions and people keep chucking over their money. This game and franchise could be so big if they would just move forward with this idea and expand on it.
As I know it's realistic, I don't like the 2 buttons on the lift. Just something tedious to slow you down. Not sure how I feel about the part repair mechanics. I somewhat like that you have to land in the green but again, something tedious to just slow you down as your working on a car. Same with the wheel balancer but it seems to work quicker so that's good. Parts look the same - very few options, no brand or performance options. You know there is more than one part for a motor (ex - Cam). Why not have different performance parts, different brands, specs, etc - all that impact things with the motor/car.
This franchise just does enough to pull people in to purchase it and then that's it - very little depth to the game at all. Anyway, you guys keep loving on this. I for one don't think I'll be buying yet another of the same game - no matter what the graphics and new shop look like, you're just buying the same game.
YES - I would gladly pay $50-$60 for a game that had more detail, real cars, more parts, more objectives to the game, find a car, repair a car, restore a car, ONLINE auction - where is that - bet it's not in this game again, Ability to create car clubs or your own shop that you can customize a car and sell it as a rarity, etc...
I would pay $50 for that and a monthly fee if the game and content was good and always improving. THIS is just the same game. Repair, Repair, Repair, Ok, now I can restore cars, restore, restore, restore - what do I do with the cars I restore? Oh I know, park in the garage with nothing to do...
Other then that I like the new repair mechnixs that make it slightly less tedious, I am exicited to be able to do some more indepth restorations in the game. I just hope items like the welder and interior kit are not locked behind a xp wall. Id like to be able to build up a garage restoring cars on a shoestring budget not when im loaded af
