Had to replace brake pads to make the engine start on the story Bolt Hornet?
Like the title says, while working on the Bolt Hornet in the story I had replace the broken camshafts, ignition coils and spark plugs (all the broken engine components) yet the car wouldn't start. I ran the fuel and compression tests and all listed parts were above 75%.

Then I replaced the suspension components and brakes, the car starts and I run the test track to find the rest of the parts.

That can't be right, you don't have to replace parts non-essential to the engine to have the car start? Or does the game require all listed/undiscovered parts to be in mostly working to start?

i think in this game no car is able to start the engine if only one part is missing. hopefully i am wrong with it...

If you're missing a part, it tells you that before you try to start the car sitting in it/try to move to a new location. For this mission all it said was "the engine can't start".

Did any of that job involve adding brake fluid as a task? It wont let a car start without missing fluids. Also. If you dismanted the engine for internal repairs, did you replace the oil?

Yes, if there is one missing part, the car will not start!
The stupidest thing I ever had was a fan clip missing, but I like the fact that the game tells you, something is missing. ;)
