Inventory showing what's in warehouse?
Is there a way to filter "warehouse" parts?

I like to store parts for project cars in their own warehouse (2, 3 etc). At the moment, opening inventory also displays what is in my warehouse. BUT I DO NOT WANT MY INVENTORY TO INCLUDE WHAT IS IN MY WAREHOUSE 2 FOR EXAMPLE. I am keeping those parts aside for a reason.

I do not see a way to "not display" a particular warehouse in inventory. If this is not currently possible to do, then accept this post as a suggestion.

Thanks.

I swear it didn't work this way in CMS on PS4?

Also, being able to NAME the warehouses would be great!

No, but it has been suggested countless times in the suggestions thread.

And it REALLY needs to be implemented, so we can pull parts during builds directly from the Warehouses. I almost loathe using the warehouse since searching it during a build is a massive Pain In The A**. Exit build mode, run over to the Warehouse room, open it up and pick the right one, type in search terms, grab item (or not), close it up, run out and back to the block or vehicle and get back into build mode. Repeat every 4th or so item because the build on cars is hierarchically structured.

Just allowing us to switch from inventory to warehouse(s) when selecting parts to use would be a massive usability improvement to the game.

I feel like maybe I'm missing something here, can you explain this a bit more? Simply opening inventory in my game does not display anything in my warehouse. I have to physically walk into the room and click on one of the shelves to view anything I've stored in the warehouse. Am I missing a setting or something or am I just not understanding what you meant here?

+1 on pulling parts from the warehouse without having to leave build mode. I'm constantly buying parts I don't need because I forget that I have one stored and going to check when you're in the middle of a build is a real pain.

Love the new shopping list functionality, but I'd really like to see an indicator of some sort if something on the list is in my warehouse. Just coloring the text green would warn me I don't need to buy this part, I should look in the warehouse.

That would be indeed very nice.

But even in the current state, I feel there is a missed opportunity from the devs: we have this handy shopping list, which we could use effortlessly to search a specific part while shopping with the (in-game) computer. Click on the item in the list, it got added to the search box and is immediately searched.
This shopping list is not directly available while checking what's in the warehouse. Yet, the search box seems the same.

Or at least give us the ability to save custom shopping lists and name them. I add everything to the list I need for an R35 engine and save it as “R35” then pull it up in the dropdown menu and can use it to buy in store.
