Usage of warehouse?
I've been wondering what other people do with the warehouse in these games. I like the idea of having bulk items stored in there and not in inventory as I play (I'm looking at you rubber bushings!), then having them show up on my list of items to use when installing one, but it doesn't work that way. Past that, with the tablet's ease of use, I don't see any point in buying parts and storing them in warehouse only to go back and get what you need.
So what do you guys use it for? The closest I can think of is for body parts, but even that seems excessive to me.

I buy up all body parts I can repair at junkyard and barns, fix them to 100%, and store them in warehouse for restorations. Come in, search for car make/model, and move what I need to inventory.

Same. Or chuck all my junk items in there when doing a customer job so I don't confuse their parts

I think they need an option in the pie menu when working on your car like you said to get items in there. Bushings and spark plugs and piston rings are a pain as you need to use lot of them.

I used to store everything there but it got annoying going back and forth, now I just keep everything on me except body parts and rims.

i use the storage 1 for projekt like restoration
i usaly fix 2 cars of the same model in one go
so bein able to store part when they are fixed are rather helpfull
storage 6 is used for part to scrap
storage 5 random 100% body part
storage 4 random 100% engine parts

I use it A LOT, actually.. I have one storage for each elevator (to keep the parts of each service organized), one for restored mechanical parts, one for body panels, one for complete engines... I play the game in a very relaxed way, so I don't mind the extra walk

My storage is empty, complete waste of time, just like in CMS 2018.
Until they have the storage UI that connects to store UI in a way that you can tick the option in store page and pull the part from your storage automatically if you have it there, it`s no point using this since you will be just wasting time trying to find something without knowing if you actually have it or not and money saving from this is not worth the trouble.

WOuld be so much more usefull if you could take more then 1 item at a time, rapid clicking with the mouse gets old fast. And not being able to sell more then 1 item at a time too

I use one warehouse for 100% parts, one for used repairable parts, and one for used non-repairable parts. The other warehouses I use for specific car projects (eg: put all the parts for a car I plan to continue working on later into a specific warehouse in order to get them out of my inventory until then). I should really come up with a better system for it though...

We need interaction between shopping list and warehouse interface. And/or ability to access warehouse from tablet/inventory and tabbing over.

I use it for storing engines. When I build a engine, if it is one I will use often, I will build 3-5 of them at a time so I don't have to do a engine rebuild every time I flip a car.

It would be helpful to be able to sell parts from the warehouse

I don't use the warehouse at all. Too much trouble swapping parts. Every single part I own is in my inventory. This was a problem in CMS18. Installing parts was very laggy. CMS21 seems to handle it fine so far and I have a lot of parts!

I would make use of the warehouse and keep everything sorted if there were a quick way to swap back and forth. Like dump my entire inventory into one warehouse and switch another warehouse to my inventory in one click or something.
