Can't use Engine Stand
When attempting to mount engine, can't choose which engine to mount. Engine select stays on screen, even when pressing ESC to back out.

Same here, started last night, never happened before :((

But the good news is I tried it again JUST NOW and it seems they have dropped a hotfix for a "rare swap issue". I have now tried pulling my precious v12 back and forth multiple times and it seems to work well :)

Thanks Devs!

It possible when you swap an engine, you have to remove the old engine ( even it is invisible ) , and than place the new engine, but it as to be one of the engine the car can accept.

just had an i6 engine out of a salem 1500. put it on the engine stand and stripped it all down. removed the block and repaired it and now cant create a new engine with the block. seems i cant make put a block on the engine stand or create a new engine at all.

update* fit engine block to car, use engine crane to pull it out and then go back to engine stand and can install on engine stand.

This is what ive been doing. Repair it, put the repaired block back into the car, engine hoist it out, then it lets me put it on the engine stand.

If you pull the whole engine out with the crane, before you disassemble any parts (even if the engine is missing parts), and install it on the stand, you can repair it and reinstall as a whole unit. Doing this also lets you build a new engine on the stand and install it as a whole unit, too.

Ty, this solved it for me. What a freaking annoying bug...
