Double XP Option
There should be an option in the game menu that allows you to select double XP for settings Easy and Normal mode just like you get double XP in Expert mode.

For people who want double xp while in easy or normal mode.

to me the game is easy in either mode. start by scanning everything, then as you progress use more scanning tools... eventually you can figure the issues not listed.

or you just look in the car spec sheet to see what hasnt got a % or check the things that dont scan like hubs, filters etc

Or you could just open your save file via notepad, ++, or whatever, type in the values you want, save, and there ya go. Bada bing, bada boom; no more gloom.

Even on expert, it's not that hard, once you've played the game for a while. I'm level 59 on Expert and I almost never play expert on games

Where can I find the save file? I just spent an hour digging around. No luck.

I had everything bought and paid for by level 8 (full unlocked garage) was buying cars at junkyard at level 5 and the point of the double exp is because it's more difficult so you get rewarded for that. if you wanna cheat just get Plitch cheat engine otherwise deal with regular exp or go expert.

No point to sandbox if you want to still work your way from the bottom.

It's not cheating if it's put into the game.
