Some tips I've learned for beginners.
1. If you want to level semi-afk in all combat stats with the exception of defense, there are 3 dummies at the top of the guard fort in Haywind with 500 hp. Just sit back and train range/magic/attack. To level defense, turn off auto-retaliate in the options, aggro as many cows as possible with your best armor. Each miss for them equates to 15xp roughly per hit.

2. To make some good money, catch sturgeons, get the filet ability at lvl 19 from the trainer (fishing), filet your fish, cook them, take them from your bank as a banknote (option is at the bottom of the menu), and sell them all to the food vendor in Little Grainwater. I sold about 220 cooked sturgeon filets for about 27k.

3. If youre looking at trying to tailor some better magic armor and those glowing orbs seem difficult to get (5 brains = 1 arcane dust; 6 arcane dust+1 bucket of water = 1 glowing orb), fear not. Ensure your woodcutting is at least level 9, travel north to "Willow Grove" southwest of Aurfield, cut glowing willows for a decent chance at glowing orbs. Clearing 5 trees I got about 6-7 orbs.

4. You can do a sort of "tick manipulation" like in runescape when gathering ore and logs. Whenever you see the spark of your pickaxe strike the ore or splinters fly when your axe strikes a tree, click the resource immediately after to reset the animation. This will increase your gathering speed by about 40%.

Hope all this helps!

another tips, you can indefinitely spawn a monster or boss by clicking the clock icon on your top left after kill them. sure, most of you knew this but some of us dont.

I got another one combined with this one. Near Northern Haywind Outskirts house you have a quest to kill pirates and bring back stolen crates. Repetable. Each run you can bring back 10 crates or more with the respawn system, each time you get a book with 2000 xp either in attack, ranged, defense or sorcery + mats. Put a chest in the house, rinse, repeat.

I stumbled across this one myself today.
With some added abilities like speed boost and extra carry bags you can really make a difference to your characters viability, especially while 2k xp makes a good dent in abilities you may need.
Especially nice for me as I have focused on magic and have very low attack and ranged abilities. Each run is levelling them up, if they are rewarded.

I do have a quest though that wants me to recruit this dude who rewards you for returning the crates for another quest where I have to recruit him for some battle.
I'm holding off that quest for now as I don't know if he will return later to this area.

Thanks i usually sell Grilled Sturgeon at General Store in North Shore Harshwind Village
But Little Grainwater Food Vendor will pay towice
For me catch sturgeon then filet and cook 100 or 200 is very easy as I have house with stash there.
Before release 1,0 we usually make money simply gather Rainforced Oak Bow near Thirhill and Golem Woods house then sell them at Harshwind Bow Shop.

As for training dummy i prefer Grainwater Village's one

The dude always stays here. Even after the other quest. Good luck for this one btw.
For me it is the most horrendous quest of the game.
