Etherlight Temple quest missing Gabrius

Not sure if i'm missing something, but when i bring the magical bark to Etherlight temple like the quest says, Gabrius is not there. The temple only has a magical barrier that doesn't respond to anything i do. Is he hiding somewhere else, or is there another temple somewhere? Can't move forward with the main story!

OK, I went somewhere else to farm for a while, then I went back there, with the bark in the main inventory. Gabrius decided to show off (or maybe it was fixed during last patch)
