Ultra wide monitor problems

The game defaults to a setting in which the top and bottom of the main menu is cut off on my ultra wide monitor, so some scenarios I am unable to click on and view.

So, I try to fiddle with the graphics settings in options, right? Well, the problem is, there is a graphic on the main menu for Stalingrad: Cauldrons of War, and it is placed over the Options tab. So anytime I click on the Options tab it sends me to the Steam page for that latter game instead.

So, I appear to be mousetrapped here by my own monitor. Is there a solution I am overlooking?

if trying different screen resolutions from the options menu does nothing for you, just send me your screen resolution datas and a screenshots of the screens that cause problems to you.

I just figured it out ... the Stalingrad box doesn't load right away, it just drifts over from the right a few seconds after the main menu appears. So ... if you are quick on the draw, you can hit the Options button before the Stalingrad box blocks it. Problem solved! :)
