Yummy Carrot bug

So basically I bought Yummy Carrot relic, and after I place it in the relic stand...things get weird. Instead of showing 6 Rare Lucy skill page, the Carrot icon just stay on scree, and when I press esc out to escape, the icon's still there but I can't move Lucy, but I can still interact with the stand.

The extra weird thing is that when I get back and click on the Carrot, it proceeds to duplicate the carrot and place it on the stand, but still no Rare skill screen...also still can't leave and move Lucy freely until I click on another relic already on the stand, which the game proceeds to duplicate and let me loot it. Only then I can leave the relic stand screen and move around, but 2 slots are now occupied by Yummy Carrot, which ultimately gives me no rare skill.
