[2.0 ending spoilers] How to play a certain character

Is there any way to play as Azar again after beating the 2.0 ending? it puts you back to as if you are still fighting him, although he is one of my favorites to play lol.

Close the book in front of the entrance to the character selection screen, it is right of Joey/Phoenix/prophecy statue.

I don't see anything like this anywhere, looked all over and there are no books.

I assume you mean here? Unless I'm blind I don't see it. I have a character from the run where I beat the master registered as "cleared on normal" so I don't think it's an issue with the save but idk.

It should be further over towards the right side of that screen where the path leads to the area where you choose your character.

It looks like you don't have it. I think it's bugged to. In the screenshot, it would be in the far right.

Are you talking about the bird house ending? Or the smaller dad ending?

I did the birdcage ending where you defeat the 3 stages of azar then the program master, and go along with his plan since the other option isn't released. Is there another ending I missed?

I should note that I can't do the normal clocktower ending anymore, it locks me into doing the program master battle every time. I can try to beat it again to see if it procs but it will probably take me a few trys lol

That's the ending. I don't know... I think it's bugged but this is the book. You shouldn't have to do it again.

Yeah just a bug I think unfortunately, thanks for your help though. I am not sure how else to trigger that spawning since the game registered I beat it and I can still rewatch the cutscenes, I assume I'll just have to try to beat it again or wait for a patch.

Last update came with a lot of bugs. Expect a patch soon.

This bug was patched in 2.0b.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to isolate players who have experienced this, so they will have to clear the game one more time.
