Soooo I cannot use Save & quit then quit the game???

Unless I misunderstood something and I'd be very happy to be wrong.

I CANNOT save&quit and then quit/exit the game? I tried it after boss 1 > campfire > the book > save& quit > main menu said continue. But I lost the progress if I exit the game?

Don't wanna be rude but what's the fking point if I can't close the damn game and continue later.

The save should persist, but you can only load it once.

It doesn't work. Well it worked if I do not exit game.

I close game and come back the continue option was gone. It became start game NOT continue. And when I chose my current save it said this will delete my temporary save file. But I CANNOT load it.

please Dev answer this plz.

Ah, yeah, here 'start game' becomes 'continue' if there's a save. I noticed there's a 'backup data' slot at the bottom of start game, maybe that's a way to recover (not sure what it's for, really)? Might be easier to get tips on the fan discord server. Maybe try validating game files via properties in steam.

Try to turn off steam synchronizing cloud for this game. it might fix the Save & quit issue. I had the same problem and avoid it this way.

I'm also having the same problem with "continue" disappearing if I save at the campfire book and exit the game.
Did turning off steam cloud synchronisation fix the problem? Or did you find another solution?
