What does it do?

Found one in my run, put 2 soulstones in it and "something happened" but can't find out what.

There is Broken Vending Machine in 1-2 and 2-1 locations. You can pay 2 soulstones both, then hatch appears in the stage (2-1). It hidden first time so you should use Lifting Scroll or Purifying Scroll near it (it counts even if it not appeard yet). You can find the hatch in certain places or by howling sound. Then you can trade 2 keys for Crimsom Wilderness Pass (can't remember the name), which is an alternative to location 2-2 and goes up from campfire. It's not a free stage, so you will come 3-1 afterwards (without time shade, haha)
