No saving during a run????

I just want to say that,in my opinion,this is a terrible idea to not have this function in the game.
I really hope this is implemented in the future because,until it is,I will not be playing this game very much at all.
I really enjoy the game except for this one issue.

there is a save every stage (maybe not after stage 1) so it does have one. If you have trouble completing a run just do it on Hope Mode.

Yeah, at every campfire except the first, there's a book that lets you suspend your run. I think it also starts the stage over if the game closes for some reason or other.

I only played to the end of stage 1 so that explains that.
Why is there no save at the end of stage 1??? LOL

There are....... your manner of speaking is just disrespecting your self.
Here is the step by step
1) Defeat a boss.
2) Go to camp fire area.
3) At the right side of camp fire, there is a stack of book
4) Interact with the book for save and quit now.

The first stage takes like 3 minutes to beat. Sure there could be a save, but also you lose basically nothing if you quit after stage 1
