His/its utility is quite allright. He's not a dps but a character that provides support like drawing cards, finding bread, tanking damage (he's immortal).
Efficient Use of Bread (1st one)
Lecture
Leer
Face Slap (depending on your friends)
Scratch
His role is durability and support, so if you have this character in an organization that requires a lot of firepower, then you've failed!
In addition, his Lecture is one of the top three strongest character Skills in the game, which is a big reason why he is rated so high.
In addition, I'm the Legendary Phoenix! is a rare skill, but it is OP!
Totally Agree Phoenix is really good if built properly. IDK, about Johan being ranked that high, but then again maybe I'm just playing him wrong (I'll take any advice). Everything else is subjective, since it tails around someones play style.
Thanks for the input. Glad to hear it :)
Hein
I admit that Hein's skills are of high quality overall, but his low Accuracy and the difficulty of using his Swiftness skill make him prone to overloading and mana inefficiency, which is the main reason for his low rating.
Charon
Charon's new skill was not my favorite.
I understand that it's strong if you can turn your allies into Death Doors, but if you can't, it's mediocre and difficult to use in many situations.
Also, I think her skills are underpowered in general.
Her Soul Thurible is really strong, but I don't feel that it has any other appeal.
If SoulStigm had Ignores Taunt, I think her rating would have changed quite a bit.
But now that I'm looking back at the skills, I see a lot of potential in Shadow Pillars.
Joey Miss Chain Huz Johan and others could be very powerful if they specialize in Shadow Pillars.
Azar
I think you're right about Charon and Hein being stronger than Azar.
I don't have a good image of Azar as an attacker either.
I think only his Sword of Infinity is fatally damaged by the Once mechanism.
Johan
His strength is that he is good at using up mana without running out of cards in his hand.
Even if you have a little bit of recovery in your hand, you can still get some firepower out of him.
Illusion Arrow, Rain of Arrows, and Bruning Arrow are three very good skills.
In addition, there are only three cards that should not be picked, there are few characters that are incompatible with him, and his performance is not easily disrupted by abnormalities, so I believe that there is no better attacker than him.
Finally, this text was written with the help of DeepL. Please feel free to point out anything strange!
Hein
Yeah the accuracy really sucks with Hein sometimes, but at least some of his skills have tracking to compensate for it. His moveset is just too valuable for certain bosses such as Doichi or The King *cough* *assault slash*.
Charon
Charon really shines in Pain damage builds; mainly in combination with Joey and Miss.Chain. But, with the new update, you can dish out crazy dps with the absorb me skill, and she pairs really well with Trisha in this scenario. I mainly run Charon with Miss.Chain because Chain sweep can add another stack of encroachment. Haven't really tried other compositions, unless I have Joey as a healer for toxic weapon. So, maybe Charon is not as great as you mentioned in other teams.
The way I exploited the new skill would be with Trisha as I mentioned earlier. Since you can create the skill and then copy it. This gives a lot more value of the urn that Charon has since you can just heal out of deaths door to dish out damage. Works even better if the healing guage is protected. Another way to exploit take care of the cost of the card to exploit Miss. Chains deaths door immunity. Just take the dmg, then take care off the negative hp with a immunity stack.
Azar
He's just too niche imo, he can pair well with Helia and that Black Sun skill (very OP imo), but his play style can be risky and very detrimental to newer players; since you easily replace your entire hand with illusion sword (not a big issue, if you're careful with it; but still a thing). His damage output really suffers without any proper setup or combinations from other teammates.
Johan
Perhaps you should post a vid on Johan. I've always grabbed those cards, perhaps I just have the wrong mindset.
No worries with the DeepL. Thanks for having a conversation with me :)
Hein
I think you're right.
Maybe I'm afraid of him because I've experienced many situations where Madness and low Accuracy don't mesh well.
Charon
Very interesting :)
It seems that if you choose your friends well, they can be very powerful. I will try to use it next time.
Azar
I agree with you. I would add that the disadvantage against some bosses is also a big negative point.
Johan
I took a video of the game, it plays slowly with too many mistakes, but please forgive me as it was my first time playing in English ;)
It's about 2.5 hours long, so I edited it, but it's still better to watch it at x2 speed.

The game I start with him and Miss Chain or Phoenix or Pressel has about 40%-60% win rate.
Thanks for your reply :)
Hey thanks for posting the video. I guess the biggest gripe I have with Johan would be his lack of ignore taunt. I mainly struggle with taking out high priority targets with him and that I need lots of cards to use his fixed ability.
The Miss.Chain and Charon combo I run with has a pretty decent win rate, probably around 50% for me.
