I was looking forward to the first danmachi game earlier at Crunchy Roll's new game platform, but they ended up censoring the title because they felt like it was sexist and against western morals to be able to click on the girls and have them say things. I, along with many others, tried to convince them that as the anime is fan service, the game also needs to retain it. But they went full "If you want the Japanese game, go play the Japanese game" on the fans, and most people left.

This will be my second chance at playing a danmachi game, and I hope I won't meet the same terrible fate with cut content and modified game to fit people who don't look at the anime.

I'm a big fan that has all 3 versions of the manga, and have seen two of the anime. So I really hope I can get a game to play as well, and not have to resort to buying from Japan to get a proper game.

If anything there should be a uncensor patch, though if ur looking for sexy times as opposed to the more likely partial nudity, maybe get your hands on Kamidori Alchemy Meister which is literally god tier.

Danmachi at its lewdest is still far more mild than DxD.
Look at Quinella from SAO if you want an actual example of censorship happening during development.

I'm saying that Danmachi has nowhere the amount of fanservice DxD has by nature so you can't call that fact censorship, it's just how the work is.

While i'm not a fan of censoring, if it really bothers you that you cannot feel up your favorite girls in lewd ways and that's the entire reason for you to drop the game, I think you should be worried about things other than censorship.

I couldn't care less about feeling up the girls.

A) I want to listen to the voice lines, which really talented voice actors recorded for among other things, poking.

B) I find it racist to claim touching women is only something barbaric foreigners do, while in the civilized west we make sure to remove such content. If the Japanese added it to the game, then you just politely ignore it if you dislike it, or use it if you don't mind it. You don't insult the Japanese by claiming the mechanics are unacceptable because our culture isn't to abuse women.
