Who want split screen?

Hello everybody this game is cool. But it need Split screen.

I'm waiting for that before buy the game... (split screen or some local multiplayer options) And I am sure I am not the only one. I can read here that game is dead, so why should I buy nothing?

There aren't any plans to add a local mode or split screen.

Came out for Xbox (free with gamepass), switch and Epic Games today and it has Crossplay.. ;-) But I want Splitscreen too.

Worms Rumble is purely a failed attempt to cash on the battle royale trend, and without the ability to play local (like all the real Worms games), wasted space in our libraries. You know what it is not? It's not a Worms game.

I would have thought that, after the effort put in, devs. would always want to ensure their game has a life beyond it's initial online buzz; I'll never understand this trend of online-only games, if I'm honest.

Isn't split/shared-screen play a cornerstone of the Worms franchise? I'm lost.
