another "battle royale" with awful voice acting, this is a clone of almost every other multiplayer game this year with a worms reskin.

It's an insult to those of us who remember the classics....

Locked out customisations and a levelling system ripped off from several free to play games...

the first time i shut the game down i had to go back to the store page to make sure there wasnt a point shop or 20 dlc's. it really does feel ftp.

There are no microtransactions for levelling up etc. Levelling up your character and weapons will unlock the ability to ‘purchase’ customisations via coins earned in-game.

Completing daily challenges will reward you with random items from various reward pools. Each challenge is split into multiple difficulty tiers and you get a random item from that pool. If you have unlocked all the customisations in that pool you will then be given bonus in-game coins. In-game coins cannot be purchased for real world money.

We will be offering additional premium customisations via DLC, these are like the packs you get for pre-ordering the game.

There is also Deathmatch and more. Not a Battle Royal Clone. It's unique as it is.
It plays fantastic, fluid and funny.
I am a huge Worms Fan, I played everything starting from NES. I played a very long time Worms Armageddon with my friends. Nice Community.
Team 17 said, this is not a main title and nothing is delayed or cancelled because of it. So calm down.
Its also only 15€.
So buy it have fun, support team 17 and wait for the next main game or play armageddon (there is an official Fan Patch :D, its fan-made but Team 17 support it on their Homepage and newsletters)

exactly, the gameplay feeling is unique enough for me. Is Unreal Tournament also a Battle Royal Game because you can play Deathmatch?
