View Stats:
Feedback from ONE match.
- maps are too big (for 8 players)
- why do we need to hold a button to open boxes.
- crosshair doesn't go far enough to aim
- can't shoot through gaps/into vents because crosshair thinks you want to aim at the foreground of the ceiling.
- shotgun sucks.
- camera needs to be side on to worm and zoomed out slightly.
- chinese voice in worm customisation says "hai" then cuts out.
- why rolling?
- why is health a usable item and not use-on-pickup?
- better than expected, not good enough to excuse the change in genre.
- game runs great.
- game looks fine.
- game loads quick.
- lag = jank in mobility, projectiles and damage.

again, just from ONE match (first impressions)

Rockets the game. Who ever has rockets just spams them and you cant do anything about it.

the pistol seems pretty reasonable. and stuff like sheep launcher has its place.

-Deathmatch was about to have 32 players but i think thay limited it on 8 players just cos of beta (not enaff players) so you can actualy find a game.
-I agree opening boxes is cluchy.
-Agree with corsair
-Unbalanced weapon and their spawn (like wtf are those multy rocket launchers that has no cd even 2 sec)
Edit 1. :
-There is a glitch that ocour time to time, where you cant dmg player at all (like hes hp bar dissapier and he can dmg you but no1 nearby can dmg him)
-Movememant, shotting, opening boxes input lag somtimes is incredible

i don't suppose anyone at Team 17 can slap together a server browser for the beta? matchmaking is empty, i guess. have still only had 1 game.

It actualy finds full deathmatch pretty quick now. Only BIG problem is input delay, its huge.
Thanks for all of the feedback, there isn't a server browser right now but there's a lot more players entering the beta now so it should be easier to matchmake! :)

I have reached lvl 11 so far, more i play, i found weapons actualy balanced nicely, not as bad as i trough on start. Shotgun have some rly inconsistent hits, to me it seems like an input lag, for other weapons that happens rarely (happend once with rocket launcher that i have hit a worm directly and nothing happend, looked like he soaked my rocket).
I didnt got to try any mode besides Deathmatch sadly.

As first thing i can say, map is great exept one thing, make pipes stay visible to players near it if there is player inside pipe, its not fair fight most of times cos people camp and can see exactly when to shot.

-Banner colours are kinda too bright, so somtimes you cant see scores you have set.
-Also a bugg on the end of match, it always shows my worm as a winner even when im not in top 3.
-It could be my mouse but it seems that sometimes laser beam wont charge when i click too fast after one shot, but it could be me, just poining it out.
-Exp gain is okeish, i gues you have some boost in mind, 30 deathmatches (like 15-20 top 1) im lvl 11 for now.

Those are only things comes to my mind at the moment so i can keep this post updated to 'help you', cos i like the game, even if people say its not like original worms. Im having fun whole day, i love fast phased combat games like this.
About a price, its not expensive i mean even for me livin in 3. world country, i just think that way more people would try this if it was free and pay 10$ for battlepass if its nicely done.

Edit: Oke im gonna rly stop here till full realease, eather im put into us servers, otherwise your servers are absolute disaster because input lag is huge, its not rly enjoyable, im not sure if people see this but i definetly does.

Edit 2: After chillout, got to play a bit more so found 1 more bugg. Sometimes when u jump high in the air with Rope, something buggs you out in middle of air so you cant move eather down or up (worm just continiously jumping in air).

Edit 3 : There is an game breaking bugg, i didnt figure out when it ocour. Game freeze and only thing you can do is end task. Its due to something about UE4-Project nible, i have sent an error.

Ok so i got into a mostly-full lobby today. about 25 players or so.
the pacing is a little better. but most of the gameplay things still stand out.

- Shotgun, not so good.
- Lag causing things to just not count.
- having to "use" items and boxes feels clunky and unnecessary.
- lower camera to be side-on to the player would go a long way.
- possibly add some kind of fog of war/line of sight thing, if possible? hard to get into a fight without being at a disadvantage.
-Ninja rope is completely unusable with any kind of lag, the worm just teleports all over the screen then flings off (kinda funny though)


LAST WORM STANDING should be the default mode or even the only mode.
the game feels built for a 1-life quickplay type scenario.

I'm not paid anything, i'm just trying to give them feedback for the game they are trying to make.

Hey man, look there is planty of posts to brag on how gamee iss nott goood, how blablabal...this post is purely to try and help them figure out some in game things thay can fix not to tell them whats bad or good marketing.

You mean, why can worms move so fast? Or why do they move so fast using rolling?
I think there was no other way to make a fast run. It's just that a faster animation of a standard run would look (as I think) not very good. Although on the other hand, the Worms could use auxiliary equipment to move faster, they are still worms and there is progress in their world. I hope you understand what I meant (English is not my language)
